I'm very pleased that Span has shown some power in the second half.

Those 3 bozos who just batted - Ramos, Moore and Rendon, supposedly the future of Nationals baseball - typify what has been wrong all season with the offense.  All 3 got fastballs rught down the gut and watched them pass for first strikes.  And this from a pitcher who doesn't walk anybody.
I have to think that if the team had just swung at first pitch fastballs, they probably would have scored another 50 runs or so.
