Alright  ....  Steelers 2 - Titans 7 at the half.    I'm here to get us on track.    Get some (next inning).

Rode from Dulles to the Pentagon this morning (on the motorcycle 9/11 remembrance).

I took this as the motivation I needed to go change the battery in my ride.  Now I need to go get a current State Inspection...

I used to go there quite often a number of years ago...just to scope out the classics and try to figure out how I could manage more bikes.  I had a single cylinder Beemer and an old Aermacchi at the time as well.

I had an '83 Low Rider that I bough new in Honolulu, but sold when we moved to Florida.  It took me a while to get back on two wheels...until we moved to Virginia, actually.  I've since moved on to other hobbies that take more of my time, so I don't ride as much as I used to.

What do you ride...sounds like you get out pretty often, and I'm jealous...

I "try" to get out (LOL).    It's been a mess (personally) over the last year.   I bought an '02 1200 Sportster new (blank canvas).    My boy and I tinkered with it and came up with this:

Very nice...I love the front end...you guys did good...

This is mine:

In retrospect, I should have gotten an Ultra Classic.  I have always liked go-fast stuff, but lean towards creature comforts these days...like eating and living indoors...  :mg:

She cranks just a tick under 98HP, and with 96 ft-lbs on the Torque side, she will get up and go...

Sweet.   I think if we ever cross paths, we'll recognize each other.   :)     I had a bike when I was in the Army (many many moons ago).     Got married, kids, dog, etc.     One day my buddy bought a bike and said I had to get one too.    Missus was very supportive (she must have taken out extra life insurance).    I think she sees the bike like a shrink.    She'll say, "You need to ride."     Usually means I'm gettin' out of hand and need to do my psychological down time without paying $150 per hour.
