yea crap
Billy Hamilton being up gives them a late inning PR who cant be thrown out stealing. I feel bad about our chances after watching the Cards throw over 3 times and he still stole it easy

Where are all the FWFs that descend on the GDT when the team is winning? Picking their fantasy football teams?

They've given up already.  Only interested when the playoffs look like a possibility.

Such a jekyll and hyde team. Anyone else flashing back to Sep 2005 and the faint playoff hopes that never die?

Is it because he's an American guy with a Middle Eastern name?

No, actually he seems like a very down to earth and likeable guy (and a practicing Bahai from what I understand).  But that game...that game...Chief melts down in the 9th with a 4-run lead (and IIRC 2 outs).  The only game that comes close to the trauma of last year's NLDS game 5.

OT but baseball related   ...  Interesting multi-tasking watching the Syrian stuff on CNN and they had Lt. Col. Rick Francona (Ret) on as an expert.   His brother is Tito Francona and his nephew is Terry of the Indians.   That is all  ....
