Yeah, we're stuck with him. I'm sure he'll be back and hit .080 next April. He always starts slow, but management is too dumb to actually give him any meaningful action during ST games to get him acclimated.
I've been thinking about something I posted in the spring when I looked at the st numbers for the Braves and Nationals. The Braves, if you remember had a great spring offensively. I posted that the Braves regulars had far more at-bats than the Nationals regulars did. It wasn't even close how many more spring at bats the Braves regulars had over the Nationals regulars.
Perhaps that's an partial explanation.
