Nah, not the same type of pitcher. Delcarmen was a big name five/six years ago, though.

Probably too big a name for a middle reliever.

That was obviously due to the system he was advancing through. Had he been a Padres minor leaguer he'd have been an afterthought.

Probably. He had two really good years though. I guess that at the time they could have thought of him like we have thought of Clip.

I'm going to throw out another idea. What about trading for Braun? There have been plenty of rumors that the brewers might/should be open to shopping him and I was wondering what you guys think it would take.

I still think he's average to above average, the guy he supposedly fleeced has had a team in the world series or ALCS three years running, so maybe there's more to this from Detroit's point of view
