Nothing personal, but I'm sick of this crap.  What's done is done and there's no going back and changing it.  Plus that decision has nothing to do with how terrible the team has been this season.

Just venting like veryone else, if you don't like it move on.  But I see this season's suck as quite related, when everyone said we would of course win the NL East for 10 years in a row, so we should save Stras for all of the great seasons to come

FP's exactly right:  the failure to unload in the first was inexcusable.

Injury to Ohlendorf is perhaps doubly crushing (if a major issue). Seemed likely he'd assume T. Jordan's rotation spot after he hit limit.

lmao. And no one else to fill that spot in the Minors.

He is pitching 1 or 2 inning stints in rookie ball, and not well either... Wait about 5 years on that one

Just unreal. No one I know who knows baseball saw this out of our team this year.
There were some that warned of a regression, but not like this.  That said, it's not uncommon for teams who burst onto the scene to follow it up with a season like this. The Pirates will be a candidate for a season like this next year.

No one in their right mind said such a thing. Smart baseball people know a lot better.

Give it up. It's tired. Along with the whole Morse thing. Living in the past is unattractive.

Well, at least the team pays for the TJ surgery.

Basically, he makes the most sense to soak up some innings.

Criminal. What Davey did to Ohlendorf on Friday night was equivalent to what Terry Collins did to Johan Santana last year.

Caleb Clay could be an option. Tanner Roark. Both would have to be added to 40 man, though.

FP speculated he looked like he was not finishing his delivery.    Said he saw the same thing at the end of the "O" Trains last outing against the Mets.

haven't followed other teams much this year - but how stupid would it be to trade for Phil Hughes?

Oh crap, I forgot it was a day game!  What's up with all this day baseball lately?!

Relax - barring rain re-schedulings we only have one more weekday first pitch at home before 19.00 (Thursday 15th August vs Giants, 16.05).

Glad for once I am stuck at work and cannot watch this debacle.

I still think this is akin to the Reds 2011 season after making the 2010 playoffs.  They came back last year and made playoffs and look they will be in again with the same basic core group.

Zimmerman's doing his best to get back into the leaderboard for GIDPs.
