Seen the movie "Beer League"? It's a classic
I'll have to check it out. One of my best memories was playing in a bar league in my twenties that was sponsored by beer companies. Trucks with taps on the sides would show up at 8am on a Sat. morning. I would hang out all day to play and drink. Let's just say I didn't go out on Saturday night that much.
