Damn.  I found my keys.  Guess I'm headed to the park...never thought I'd dread going to a game.

Bryce Harper fell on his knee making a catch, might've aggravated it a little. Davey unsure if he'll go in nightcap.

From Zuckerman:

Key stat: Over his last 22 games, Adam LaRoche is hitting .185 with a .264 on-base percentage and .370 slugging percentage.

he's a slow starter.  give him another 30 games to heat up

Johnson has zero energy in his voice and/or actions.    He's punching a time card.

I've been saying what Keith H said for months....when down by 2 strikes, these clowns have already decided to swing, no matter where the pitch is....(unless it's down the middle, then hugely overpaid Neanderthals like R Zimmerman just stand there and watch...the man should be fined $500,000 every time he watches a perfect pitch float by for strike 3 ....I am so tired of his pouting countenance every time this moron stands there like the statue of Liberty watching great pitches sail into the catcher's mitt, then he glares at the scoreboard as if by magic the called third strike will be changed....why is this j-off raking in so much cash for so little in the clutch? Baseball salaries are obscene under the best of conditions; on the Nats, it's a total insult to the fans to watch millionaires play like a bad high school team. I am fed up with these overpaid prima donnas (and denards)...La Roach Motel is another player who got one over on Rizzo and is collecting a mint for chasing bad pitches...I thought we got rid of Whiffinosa..??? he seems to have infected the whole lot of them....

you over obsess on the money thing.

I hope they win the nightcap, just so we don't have to deal with a bunch of zombies at the STH Appreciation Day event tomorrow morning...

The Brewers staff escorted a woman from the park that had a Ryan Braun jersey but with name FRAUD on the back.  Wonder what they'd do at Nationals Park to someone that wore a Nats jersey with the number 5 and the name BUST on the back...

I had other things to attend to after the 6th, and went away assuming that Zimmermann was done for the day with a "quality start" or 6.0IP 3ER and at 100-some pitches.  Why the hell did he go out for the 7th?  I guess Storen really did have the flu since it looks like he had diarrhea on the mound.  Where the hell are the bats?  This team is playing awfully, is it 2009?
