#2 Michigan salvages a split with UNO, 4-3.
Saturday's nominee for most interesting result is Colgate's defeat of #11 Clarkson, 4-3, in the North Country. That's 2 wins over ranked teams on the road over the weekend for Colgate. Union topped #10 RPI, 4-1, so with 2 losses at home, you can expect RPI to tumble in the next rankings. #19 Cornell topped #17 St. Lawrence, so St. L will probably drop, too.
Merrimack tied #4 Notre Dame, 2-2, at home, and #5 Providence swept Vermont, 3-2 and 3-0. UNH took two over #18 Northeastern and is on a 5 game win streak after starting 1-5-1.
#20 UM Duluth split with #13 No Dak in the NCHC, while in the WCHA, #14 Ferris State went 1-0-1 with Bowling Green and #15 Lake Superior State split at Michigan Tech.
Another nominee for most interesting result is #12 Wisconsin topping #8 Miami, 3-2, splitting the weekend at Miami. #1 will stay the same as they topped Minnesota State twice. #3 St Cloud acted like a ranked football team and blew out Alabama-Huntsville 10-0 Friday, but Saturday just squeaked by 4-3. #9 Yale, #16 Lowell both won their only games this weekend.
Looking at these results, I'm going to guess that the top 5 will be Minnesota, St Cloud, Providence, Michigan, QU, followed by Notre Dame, BC, Yale, Miami, and Wisconsin.
