How does Zim watch a pitch like that?  Serious question

He's looking for off speed or a different location than something down the middle. Seriously.

Gotta protect with 2 strikes, can't guess. Terrible approach.

I know the Nats aren't killing him, but I'm not that impressed with Cole's stuff. It's just meh. Not much movement or velocity. But I'm not watching the game that closely right now so I could be wrong.

You are right. He certainly needs to react.

I get that with no strikes or 1 strike, but with 2 strikes doesn't he have to have a swing/approach capable of fouling off a pitch like that even if he is looking for something else?  Again, serious question, I never really played baseball

I'm telling you. I like the way this kid carries himself. He doesn't even look like he's sweating.

Seems like something a hitting coach could work on with him.  Apparently Zim hasn't changed anything since he was 10 (and thinks this is a good thing)

I thought Zim was Mr Nationals and was above criticism?

Don't believe that quote. Sure, he said it, I bet. But that seems like a quote out of frustration. Of course, he changes and adjusts.

You know, they only throw about 50 MPH and no offspeed in Little League so he has had to adjust.

Taylor Jordan looking good.  Should be 1-1 right now.  C'mon offense, stop sucking.

The 98 mph heater by LaRoche was nice.

He looks decent. I don't see ace potential but #2-3 caliber SP certainly.

Only for certain people, no one is above criticism in my book.

That changed:
1. He got married.
2. His wife is now pregnant.

You should provide us with a pic of the new Royal Baby.

Davey, for one, is the master of saying things to the media that he has not thought through or, worse, does not mean. These guys have a mic in their face every day so they just say whatever. Of course, people over analyze every little thing they say in this day of the interwebz.
