Run scored as a result.  That run is unearned.

Yea, I'm not sure.  Actually I would think it should be 2 ER (b/c the second run would have scored if we record the out at second but don't turn the DP on the Rendon error play), but ESPN has it at 3 ER.  Who knows heh.

MLB Boxscore has it as 2 ER.

meh, I wish he'd save this type of play for a year when we are actually good and competing for the playoffs.

:lmao:

By "working the count???"

He's a command pitcher. When he misses, it's not all over. He's close. And he didn't get hit hard. Now I was in and out of the room so I might have missed it.

And his body language is good. Looks cool.

Nah, he didn't get hit hard at all.  Three seeing-eye singles.

I don't think you really understand this whole competition thing. Never, ever quit. These guys didn't get the bigs by being quitters.

Yeah.  I loved his body language as he went 3-0 to two straight hitters.

Ian Desmond can go 3-0 to out better than any hitter in baseball.

Desmond is as big of a culprit as anyone. He's been extra terrible in the clutch lately when we've needed him.

Second straight batter chases ball 4 out of the zone. :smh:

They are all pressing so much they can't have a good AB with RISP.

They need to stop doing that Papa Johns promo. It feels like taunting.

MLB Boxscore has it as 2 ER.
ESPN changed it to 2 ER and 1 error.
 :pimp:
Anthony Rendon's problem is that Rick Eckstein was teaching him how to play 2B; his practice partner is now gone.

Taylor Jordan's problem is that he has no first name.

The Nats are 6 for their last 76 with RISP.

How is this possible? I wonder how many more games it will be before they get a hit with RISP.
