Davey Johnson is in way over his head. Lombo isn't a very good player but that situation is the one time where he is actually useful and can get it done. He hit a walk off sac fly earlier in the season in that situation. He puts the ball into play which is what we needed there.

Davey is to blame if we lose. Constantly putting guys in position to fail.

It should have been Lombo vs Belisario or Hairston vs Howell. Embarrassing managing.
