I know it's just a little over one game but I don't see how Puig could have been hitting .400.He chases garbage all over the place.
Earlier today we were out at a winery in Linden, Virginia, and it was 83 degrees with no humidity and a nice breeze. Stark contrast to here. I watched the "outside temperature" display in the car climb steadily the whole way back. I almost feel back to normal enough to have a beer. Almost. Not quite there yet. A MASSIVE belch annoyed Ms1995hoo but provided much-needed relief!!! Much more pleasant than kneeling before the porcelain throne, which is what happened the only other time heat got to me like this.
Willy Mo Pena all over again.
willy mo never made contact on anything. when he touched a ball it went 500 ft but he very rarely made contact. puig has great eye hand coordination
If you stayed home tonight you did the right thing - per Slowes the lead-off temperature was 92.[meanwhile Nats-killer Ramirez strikes out!]
White Sox defeat Barves, 10-6.
Puig is basically Cespedes. Low OBP, Power only player.
We went to the ballpark—got there around 4:40 and got bobbleheads—but didn't make it past 5:00. No doubt part of that was the walk from the car with the sun beating down. I have it on the TV now.....and I have indeed cracked that beer. The beer was free, too—neighbor next door moved away and gave us the beer she had left.
