Damn you're right.  We need to stop trying to hit so many momers on bad oitches.  If we can just get everyone swining out of their shoes we're golden from here on out.

Hit the nail on the head. They had game after game like this in ST.  And Davey got all cocky before the season even started.

Davey blamed Stras as the reason the offense went scoreless the last 8 innings.

Davey didn't even seem mad. Seemed at ease and comfort with what this team is.

Been withholding judgment for the last couple weeks to see if they could straighten it out with the full lineup, but after tonight I'm done. Let's sell and start gearing up for next year.

What are Strasburg's career stats versus the Marlins?  I feel like they are terrible.  It seems like other than opening day Stras always gets rocked by the Marlins.  Had a game early September where he went like 3 innings and gave up 5 runs to them and wasn't the heat exhaustion game also against them?

EDIT: yup, the Marlins are to Stras as the Cards are to JZ.  Last couple games vs Marlins:

2.0 IP, 7 ER
6.0 IP, 0 ER
3.0 IP, 5 ER
5.0 IP, 5 ER
6.0 IP, 0 ER
6.0 IP, 0 ER

he started off against them well but he's been rocked in 3 of his last 4 starts against them and his record in those games is 1-2 with a ND in the 3.0 IP 5 ER game.
