If I weren't morally opposed to gambling, I'd take that 5-1.

If you don't mind my asking, why are you morally opposed to gambling? Or are you joking?

Also no disrespect to Jordan, he's young and has time, but I'd like to see Ohlendorf taking his starts unless they're willing to give up on Haren, which I'm assuming they won't. He doesn't blow away but he's solid. Gives the offense a good chance, at the very least.

Offense bad, Strasburg even worse. Run while you have time.

It was a bad joke. Although I do not gamble for the simple reason that the odds are stacked against me.

Lol. I had a teacher who used to say, "Gambling is a tax on people who are bad at math." He probably didn't make that up, but I always think about it now although I do partake occasionally.

And I swear I can't escape the Sharknado discussion.

Down 7-3 to the Marlins, with Strasburg starting?

This organization has flat-lined and I don't only mean this year.

Zimmerman and Werth are your franchise investments, thanks to a poofy GM, and you can not win with these fast-aging vets.

Hopefully, there is a farm system that will surprise, but with managers like Johnson and coaches like Eckstein, it won't matter.  Major overall at the top needed.

Only good thing about this year is that the frauds have been exposed and that is the only way they can be replaced.

Unfortunately, all the FO is focused on is raping Kissimmee for a new ST complex.

I know, not really a ST rant.

ok, but Verlander wasn't the highest rated pitching prospect of ALL-TIME
Which is probably why Strasburg's comparable season is a 2.99 ERA almost 2 runs lower.  Doesn't mean in his third full (being generous because 2010 was really only half a season) major league season he has no development left to do.  That was the point.

The Nats... the little scratch on the roof of your mouth that would heal if only you could stop tonguing it, but you can't.
