We need to add offense at the trade deadline if we even want a chance to catch the Braves. Our guys are not getting it done.

There's nothing they will add except maybe a bench bat or something. They aren't benching any of these scrubs we have in the lineup.

4 runs shouldn't be an insurmountable deficit. Shouldn't....

If freaking Tyler Moore would have played like he did last year he would have been a huge boost in LF with Harper out. But he sucked ass so we have to play bums like Lombo who can't hit for average or power.

Yeah, okay. You do realize that he's not going to get to every damn ball hit between second and third right? His issue hasn't been his range, its been his arm accuracy. I know that doesn't fit the narrative you're illustrating, but seriously.
No freaking crap I realize that. But his range is diminishing and it's noticeable. Clearly that's not his biggest problem due to his arm now, but you can't ignore that fact. He's playing closer to the grass than he used to because he doesn't trust his arm anymore which isn't allowing him to make plays on balls like he did from 2007-2010. I don't have time to write narratives, I just state what I see.

Agreed. he's still got great range. his arm sucks.

to be fair, his arm has improved but still isn't what it was.

Are we sure Detwiler's healthy? Are we sure the guys swinging the bats in the red jerseys are professional baseball players?

Detwiler is healthy. He just isn't very good this year for whatever reason.

Why didn't Rendon come in on that ball and grab it in the air off the first hop??

like I said, his range is fine. What you are seeing and what is real two different things.

Detwiler has given up 77 hits in 60 IP. He's been way too hittable all year. This is nothing new. He throws nothing but fastballs.
