Knight trying to say as gently as possible that Haren sucks and shouldn't be starting to avoid getting Dibbled.
I still think Dibble was fired for displaying his tats on TV.

I'm really getting tired of FP making excuses for why this offense is bad

ATTENDANCE at this match: 35,787 (86.2% full)

:uk:
The Rockies attendance record, set at RFK Stadium with 32,381 on Wednesday 20th July 2005, was broken last night with 34,917.  Today breaks that record.

I think Dan Haren evens out whatever edge that might give us.

Well...you certainly called it...what a crapfest...

Worst game i ever attended.

Ranks right up there for me as well, though we managed to stay 'til the bitter end.  3 Home losses in a row for us now, and 4 of the last 5.

Sucks we won't have the chance to make up more ground with the Barves, but at least the Brewers are being bros and beating them for us right now.

One of the worst games ever.  I luckily fell asleep on my sofa.  Even though Haren is not doing well, I felt sorry for him when he left to boos.

Was there ever any reason given as to why Werth was scratched?

Who started this thread? Can we blame him???

I am never starting another GDT thread when Haren is pitching.  :hang:

I was wondering why no one jumped on this one - I thought it was the early start :)

I totally agree with everything said about Haren, but unless he pitched a complete-game shutout, he was taking the loss because of our inept offense.   Would there be this much hate for him if he went 7 innings and gave up 3 runs?

Nope there wouldn't be. It would be all about the inept offense.

No there wouldn't.  But he didn't.  He went 3.1 with 6 ER.  So we all know the offense didn't show up but even if they had 7 runs is tough to beat.

what would you do with $8M....
(a) give it to some worthless pitcher named Haren....
(b) use it to light your BBQ
(c) wipe your behind with it....

obviously, choices 'b' and 'c' produces something for your money, whereas giving it to that worthless clown Haren just means your money went down the toilet, without so much as grazing your behind.

Are you keeping the other $5M he is being paid?

Anyone else find it ironic that the Rockies wore their batting practice jerseys today?  It's like they knew what was coming.
