Nats should stop throwing him on Saturday's when most people can make it to games.
Agreed.

Haren 3.1 IP, 6 ER will be the final line.  I'm guessing that finally pushes his ERA over 6.  Gotta wonder if this was the final straw for Davey and Rizzo.

I'm not usually pro-booing, but if they keep trotting him out there because of his salary then the fans should let them know they're out of patience.

This is on Rizzo, for the bad hire and now for doing NOTHING about it, and on Davey, for starting him and leaving him in to lose games.
  :old:
Haren should be off this team. Failing to remove Haren and Espinosa is the most likely way to miss the playoffs.

But if we had won 55% of the games since Bryce was hurt, we would be tied with the Braves for 1st place.

We also miss Ramos at the plate

Record before "the wall":  21 - 17

Record after:  16 - 19

Doesn't look like a huge difference to me.

Werth got booed at a lot of the games I was at in 2011

Deservedly so.

I don't know.  I don't think Werth was ever close to this bad and that team was never supposed to go anywhere to begin with.

What's our record with him not in the lineup? He played after he collided with the wall

Nats have hit a home run in 81 straight series, the longest active streak in the majors.

Either they're playing Haren because of the $13,000,000 or because they think he's their best option.  Either way, it's terrible front office decision making.

This game isn't even 1/2 over - so even you should hope we'll score more runs

4-11 in games Haren starts including this loss.

Seriously go freak yourself Dan Haren.

Why can't we blitzkrieg opposing scrub Ps like other teams do to Haren?

To be honest even though I'm watching this game, I have no interest left in it at all.  I feel like I'm watching it more out of habit than even caring what happens now.  If Haren is out of the rotation after this, it will be well worth it.  If not, big mistake from Davey and Rizzo.  (Distinction between saying big mistake and saying they should be fired btw)

Have Nats fans booded anyone else before ?  That booing really annoys me.
I was at the game where Jason Bergmann was booed off the field.  Similar situation, and he gave up back-to-back homers.  Sent to AAA the next day.  He's now playing semi-pro ball in Texas, with Tim Redding.
Ohlendorf throwing gas hahaha
Davey needs to let Ohlendorf FINISH the game.  NOT 2 innings, not 3 innings, the REST of the game! :old:

Haren now has a 6.15 ERA. Haren should be released, put on the DL, or moved to the bullpen.  If he gets another start, then Rizzo has proven that he's a scout, but NOT a GM.

Why would you want someone with a 6.15 ERA in the bullpen?

WHo is Haren a better option then in the BP. Put him on the 60 day DL or DFA him and call up Christain Garcia.

Is Garcia ready now?  I was under the impression he'd be in the pen once he was ready.

If they can't live with releasing a pitcher being paid $13 million, put him on the DL, or let him face one batter as a relief pitcher, (in games that are out of reach anyway.)  Haren should never start another game.
