There are two regular posters on the MLB board who live in Seattle.  Nutsfornats, and DCnats99, I think the handle is.

Been to several College World Series games over the past couple of days and there were Nat's hats all over the place.  At least 5 a game.  Don't know how many were repeats but I was pleasntly suprised how many there were.  It seemed as though more people were wearing them because they looked cool (which they'd be right) or if any of them were actually fans.

This isn't a Washington cap sighting, but it is a curly w sighting.

Michael Beasley

I guess he's a Nats fan.

True, but it's pretty cool he chose our logos. They're new, too.

Not a big Michael Beasley fan, but that's just me.  Not a big fan of anyone or anything thing that comes out of Kansas State.

I'm a fan of his skills, but not his team. He's in our (the Wizards) division now.

Oh, I had no idea the heat and wizards were in the same division.  Is that bad?  I follow the NBA about as much as the Nats are winning right now.  Plus my Huskers shut him down pretty good on national tv.  It was a fun night.

It could be bad in a few years, but the Heat were only 15-67 last season. 15-67 record =  you get a player like Michael Beasley in the next draft.

- Traverse City, MI in Cherryland Mall. Curly W Cap.
- Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH. Curly W Shirt.
- Progressive Field (Cleveland Indians) in Cleveland, OH. Nationals Banner Shirt.
- Last week on the morning show "Today" there was a guy standing in the NY background with a Curly W t-shirt on. I forgot what morning exactly.

Tonight (08/26) at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY in a game between the Tri-City ValleyCats and the Brooklyn Cyclones, I just missed catching a fould ball and it landed in the hands of a fan wearing a Nats t-shirt in the section below us!

Plus, our ice cream sundaes came served in Curly "W" mini batting helmets!  I have one for each of my boys that I will give them their caps when they wake up tomorrow.

I saw more Nationals hats in Los Angeles than I see in some parts of Washington. There were A TON.

Also this is pretty old (obviously since he is in jail), but I didn't see it in this thread so I had to:

But how many Cubs hats did you see?  My Dad has a standing bet with me -- wherever we travel, the first one to spot a Cubs hat gets a beer from the other.  His saying is, "No matter were you go, there's always some a$$hole with a Cubs hat on."  He also says that no matter what town you are in in America, channel 9 sucks!

For the record, I wore both my blue curley W cap and my Nats road jersey all last weekend, with my "Cubbie" friends all dissing me big time.  i loved it!
