Sure, but the beaches are better in Croatia

I found that they LOVED Americans there, because Americans bring their wallets and leave cash. Border guards were thrilled to see me.

On the beach in Gabon, not as nice as the Croatian beaches but warmer this time of the year.

Tourist consumption would skew the stats, if total beer consumed divided by population were the formula, as tourists are in the numerator but not the denominator.

Just saying.

That would assume that the number of beers consumed by tourists in Gabon is significantly higher than the number of beers consumed by tourists in South Africa, which would at least be directly correlated to the number of tourist and just based on the number of people on my flights into and out of Libreville....I don't think tourist consumption is a factor.

The beer, however, was pretty good, and a heck of a lot cheaper than what I can get in Nats Park.

I saw two interlocking DC hats in Hawai'i when I was there on my honeymoon. One on Kawai'i and one on some hiking trail on Maui. I started a convo with the guy on the hiking trail and he said he was kind of embarrassed to be wearing it.
