Desi seems to have a tougher time adjusting to new situations. His average and power numbers seem better at #2. I don't know if that is just 2012 affecting that. He had a hard time in right, if I remember. With Desi, you take the good with the bad. You know his bat will carry you for stretches, and as long as he's not in a fielding funk, you probably have to keep running him out there at SS. Danny will have to be the flexible one, cycling through 3 or 4 positions to get his 2 or 3 starts a week. Figure 40-50 more starts and 150- 200 more plate appearances. Not that anyone here would have wanted that at the start of the year.
