South?  Most of them are from AA or better.   Those teams are North!

Meant south as in demoted down from the bigs.  My bad.

bye bye Tyler Moore. Can't believe he gets the axe over Tracy.

Predictable. He needs to get himself straightened out. Tracy will be around for at least 6 more weeks.  :smh:

I think the only thing that saved Tracy is he is a LH hitter

what saves him is that he's got his role as a guy who is really only there to pinch hit, isn't expected to play the field, and isn't wasted sitting on the bench.  I can understand the logic keeping a guy like him vs. a younger guy who needs to play every day to develop.

It's possible. When Harper returns Marrero or Kobernus goes back down.

I don't know which page Rendon's leap is mentioned but I have to say that was sensational as was winning a double-header today.  Now let's get our injured players back and really turn it on.

Espinosa needs to get healthy and back to his old self, he's our best option at second.

Maybe with the glove but so far, Rendon looks light years ahead of Espinosa at the dish. Small sample size? Sure but the same can be said for Tony's fielding.

By healthy, I meant that Espi needs to be hitting at his peak level. Rendon then moves to third and Ryan to first.

Trade him.

Although after yesterday's night game, I'm not a huge proponent of this.

I really like LaRoche, seems like a cool dude and he's still somewhat hot at the plate. His error on Saturday was bad though...then again he did make up for it in the doubleheader yesterday

Even if Espinosa is hitting at his peak performance level, Rendon's approach is way more advanced than Espinosa's. We're better off with Espinosa as a utility infielder than as a regular.

I'm not sure any of us really remember Espi before the ASB in 2011. He was pretty good. :)

but Rendon does look loose, comfortable, and flexible. He seems to know the strike zone and has a quick swing, can put balls in play.

Let's just hope he is durable.

Espi could maybe be a decent pinch hitter if he could learn to make contact.  What's his fly to ground ratio like?

EDIT: his GB/FB is pretty poor...1.06, so there goes the idea of him being a contact pinch hitter.
