Put Souza in CF for a week. McLouth can't hit. Span has stopped hitting. Dobbs is no longer necessary. Hairston? Nope.

You know, it's really imperative that the Nationals get as big a lead in the NL East as possible. I think this team needs to see if Souza and/or Taylor can hit when given consistent time at the big league level. Would make next year's shuffle a lot better. Or allow them to trade for a replacement for Espinosa/Desmond

since it looks like there may be no job for Souza anytime soon (Harper Span Werth now, with Zimmerman thrown into the mix too), do they have him repeat, try to trade him, or use him as a bench bat?

the only trade I could see making sense is for a closer prospect.

could go either way, hard to get closer to the bigs than hitting .363/.456/.567 in aaa

Why do Bob and FP never mention Souza? No praise on TV...

Oh, and I was joking when I said that Souza wuld not get called up until he hit .400, but that might be accurate.

I think aaaa players are an excepted phenomena, but are they really a justification for doubting aaa numbers in general? At some point you have to see how he'll perform against mlb pitching, but until then, his numbers are at least encouraging

Also, Souza has a much better set of tools than those other guys. Moore only has one tool, really.
