while I'm neither an eternal optimist nor do I see everything as rainbows and unicorns but Jesus! Some of you are so damn miserable and pessimistic that it makes me wonder why you tune in and/or bother posting. I'm not being a fan cop, so lets put that crap to bed now. I'm not enjoying watching the team flounder, but lets at least keep some prospective.

Thanks for proving my point Zimmy... Sigh

I think some folks are optimistic pessimists.

Went to New Mexico last Friday...about ten miles outside Santa Fe in "nobody lives there" land. Missed everything about Espinosa's hand, but he's back in the lineup. Nothing has changed. Bah.

Bob said Nat's Park is SE of Camden.   I minored in geography.   :)   What really hurt is he called DC a swamp (which a large portion of it was but damn bro   ...  ).

Maybe a new floating ballpark...the 11th wonder of the world...middle of the Bay?

5.31 ERA in 59.1 IP this season is brutal. And you know the O's will score many more tonight vs him.

He's been pitching a lot better lately.  Still makes a mistake from time to time but overall he's pretty solid.

0 runs in 5 innings vs Garcia. We've already lost.

We were supposed to score vs him because we all know that we are incapable of doing anything vs relievers.

Yep. The Old Nats had them: Whitey Herzog and Rocky Bridges and Herbie Plews. The hitting this season takes me back to 1956. Not good times.
