That's what Charlie & Dave just said.  Just letting him steal.

How fitting that Espinosa will get to make the final out tonight since he's due up third.  We're facing a struggling closer, but that won't matter.

All of these guys are just waiting for the game to end, so they can go back to the hotel and enjoy some #steak, and tweet jokes at each other all night before they get their asses handed to them tomorrow.

Runners are 8/8 in stealing bases vs HRod this year.

37/39 in his career. :?

Hopefully Jim Johnson goes all Jim Jones and they kill themselves.

H Rod has a lot of faults, but he's been putting up as many zeros these days as any other reliever it seems.

Just wait for the 9th. Jim Johnson has been struggling more than any closer in baseball... You know he'll dominate in a 1-2-3 inning.
1. O's closer Jim Johnson is on my fantasy team.
2. I'm playing MarquisDeSade this week, who has the best record in the WNFF league, and won it the last 2 years.  He's up 3-0 on Saves so far.
3. I started this GDT and have a losing record YTD.
4. Davey Johnson is secretly rooting for "his" Orioles.
5. H-Rod is in line to be the winning pitcher, if the Nationals score big.
 :whip: :whip:
Every reverse jinx in play now.

Davey will tip his cat to the Birds and will downplay the loss and say he's encouraged they keep swinging the hot bats.

He is definitely not among the worst of our problems right now.

Nats send Tracy, Suzuki and Espinosa up against closer Jim Johnson, who has blown four of last five chances & has a 21.60 ERA in last six.

there's one out.

With Espinosa batting this inning, we only get two outs and one of them has already been recorded.

Could have cut the deficit to 3.5 games and been feeling pretty good about ourselves heading into tomorrow and the Braves series but nope.

I feel like we were robbed of a win tonight. We should be about to celebrate a great victory right now. What a freaking joke.
