What did I just witness? Home runs from Moore and Bernadina, scoreless pitching from Storen, and unerring throws by Zimmerman. How do we make that last?

Chris Tillman. Has given up 10 homers in 10 starts but a 3.68 ERA.

Not someone to be afraid of for sure. We need to win with our ace on the mound.

Can't tonight, got an early day tomorrow. Car bombs on me though, while watching the bulldog bring about some more late night car bombs.

Sounds good.

I guess I can stare at my BRob poster all night in my basement.  That's just as fun.

thank freaking God!!!!  cathartic.  nothing short of cathartic.  Might the bats be getting hot.  Laroche and Zimm are starting to play to potential.  Are Bernie and Moore returning to career norms?  Is Storen back on track.  Clip has been generally solid.  Abad has looked like he might be a keeper.  our 12th rounder acquitted himself quite well, no?

We've won 3 of 4.  IS IT HAPPENING?  IS IT HAPPENING?????  R WE TURNING GTHE CORNER????

I think I need to get my eyes checked. It says 9 under R next to Washington. That can't be right.

Well birdland, there's always tomorrow.

If you had any decency you would freaking renounce your orioles fanhood after the way MASN treats our fanbase by shoving all the birds crap down our throats.

I wouldn't mind Gary Thorne.
He's always MIA during these split-booth series.  I don't think it's a coincidence; I bet he feels the same way all of us do.

Comparative dates on which the Nationals notched their 27th win, each season:

2012 - 25th May (45th match of season)
2013 - 28th May (52nd match)
2005 - 31st May (52nd match)
2010 - 4th June (56th match)
2006 - 7th June (60th match)
2011 - 7th June (61st match)
2007 - 12th June (64th match)
2008 - 13th June (69th match)
2009 - 21st July (93rd match)*

*Six matches after the All-Star break and snapping a 6-match losing streak - yes the 2009 Nats were THAT bad.

---

The big attendances we had on this now-completed homestand have pushed the season average to 33,410 - by far the best ever at Nats Park but also just 318/fixture short of 2005's all-time record of 33,728 - a new attendance record is well within reach.

---

It would sometimes help if I took my own advice...I really can't do rain delays on work nights (I go into work early and most of the transit in my area knocks off after 23.00 - I routinely observe a 22.30 curfew for weeknight matches), and it would have helped if I had checked the weather before heading out (in fact I really can't do them at all - with the attendances we've been pulling there's not much room in the 300's for just standing round for hours)...it looked OK when I left my place just before 18.00 but of course once I got to the ballpark it started up (TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE CHELSEA AND CHECK THE WEATHER FIRST!!!)

...although I do think the stewards are a bit inflexible about getting everyone out of the rain and out of their seats - I've sat through DC United matches with harder rain than that. But what really steams me is the nearly $10 I wasted on the transit last night.

Luckily I got home in time with 10min to spare and caught the whole match on the radio.

BTW, has it been discussed that after Soriano made the comment about Harper teammates have not untucked?

Good.  It was a stupid thing in the first place.

Plus, Soriano is an *ss.

The horn is just as loud as fireworks. Why aren't people complaining about that? Fireworks are cheaper.
I miss hearing bang, zoom go the fireworks! It was awesome when they shot em off after Werth's walk off last year

Charlie Slowes on the radio broadcasts used to always go 'BANG ZOOM GO THE FIREWORKS' as another win was notched and the fireworks went off...his current 'BANG ZOOM ANOTHER CURLY W' just doesn't quite match that.

It was so crazy in the stadium at that moment that I don't even recall there being fireworks.
