Angelos is too cheap to fill those timeslots with actual original programming :$$$:

I don't want to rewatch it. We might blow the save next time

Btw. We need a gdt thread where nobody corrects autocorrects.

This is awesome!  A little tidbit on Soriano on Rotoworld:

Rafael Soriano bounced back from Tuesday's blown save to pitch a scoreless inning for his 13th save Wednesday against the Giants.

Soriano's four-year old caught Marco Scutaro's fly to deep left to end the game. It was Soriano's first save since May 9. He had a loss and two blown saves since. May 22 - 7:26 PM

To celebrate Bryce Harper's home run today, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will be airing The Natural (1984), starring Robert Redford, at 8:00 PM tonight.

Today's game is scheduled to be
repeated on MASN at 11:30 pm tonight
and at 9:00 am tomorrow morning.

I was actually watching the first hour of this. Classic.

When I rewatch the game, I make sure I follow along in the WNFF game day thread. It gives me a better overall experience to share in the highs and crushing lows, even if I'm time delayed.

Comparative dates on which the Nationals notched their 24th win, each season:

2012 - 20th May (41st match of season)
2005 - 22nd May (44th match)
2013 - 22nd May (47th match) - c'mon lads, falling behind the '05 Overachievers already?
2010 - 26th May (47th match)
2008 - 30th May (56th match)
2011 - 1st June (55th match)
2006 - 3rd June (56th match)
2007 - 6th June (59th match)
2009 - 4th July (79th match) - yes this dire Nats edition was at The Fourth when the Nats prevailed 5-3 over the Braves, John Lannan getting credit for the win

---

Good to listen to the lads pulling it out last night...would have hated to see a second consecutive strong starting-pitching performance going down the toilet.

That's why I post the scoring, as Senators2005 did before me.  It helps someone to keep their place, if watching the replay.

I've suspected that some of the late night Guests on here are players on the team.  That's a reason to tone down on the hate.

Not just the players  ..   Carp and FP as well.   We kid 'em because we like 'em.   It's not hate.   It's like picking on your younger brother.   It's OK if we do it but don't let one of these "wanderers" come in here and talk crap.    Do we go too far sometime?    Yep.

That violates the WNFF Moderator Policy prohibiting display of Nipples.

But it worked...
6th   Bryce Harper homered to left.

Washington Nationals  1   :uk:
San Francisco Giants  0

Bryce-a-Roni...the San Francisco treat.

Seems we can shut down the GDT when it is >24 hours after the game.

We're not the Red Sox.
We savor a victory for a long time now.  Don't know when we'll get another one.
