You tanked up tonight? I've been hitting the JW Black.

It's like groundhog day, every pitch 4 inches off the outside edge.

This isn't the first time this season Gio started a game like this. Fastball command just not there.

If it's adrenaline FP, why don't all pitchers look like crap, like Gio does tonight.

Nice to see you around. You're lucky you weren't around in the 70s and 80s. There were lots of awful unis like these.

I've seen the pictures! But seeing it in the flesh (or through the tv) is something else.

And finally done with exams so I have the rest of the summer to watch the Nats!

Not by my standard.

A very strong tequila/lime juice followed by 3 full glasses of wine, but not in the mood to pound em tonight.

3-2 fastball way off. That just looked ugly coming out of his hand.

Yeah. The boy is home after exams too (and my daughter graduated last weekend - she's home too). Just wish the Nats were on this coast.

the regression by our starters shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. literally every pitcher out-performed expectations last season. only one who has kept it up is zimmermann, and strasburg though he has struggled at times

Agreed. What about Burch Smith making his first career home start in the Big leagues tonight? He look unphased in the first.

Game over. Terrible job by Gio and a horribly stupid decision by Harper.
