This is ALL on Zimmerman.

To a point.  Stras needs to man up there as well, he just collapses when things don't go his way.

Darwin Barney batting .151 and he walked him. He's struggling more than any everyday player in baseball. So inexcusable on Strasburg's behalf.

5th   Edwin Jackson doubled [first career double] to deep right center, W Castillo and D Barney scored.

Chicago Cubs                 2
Washington Nationals   0

Exactly.  You can't walk the #8 hitter and give up a double to the damn pitcher.

While Zimmerman's throw was the main culprit, it's inexcusable for Strasburg to melt down by walking the 8th hitter and then, after having the pitcher down 0-2, allowing a freaking DOUBLE to the pitcher! Got a break on the runner trying to stretch the double into a triple or the inning may have been even worst. But still, Zimmerman freaked us.

Its not all Zimm. Zimm has walked and given up two doubles this inning.

Nobody in my Huff 'N Puff league throws like Zimmerman (and some of them are women).

It's humid as freak outside. You can see the sweat pouring off him. That Zimmerman error cost him probably 20 pitches. He should have been in the dugout 5+ minutes ago.

This isn't a playoff team with Zimmerman at third.  They're not good enough to overcome his errors.

Zimmerman still stinks and Strasburg is still mentally soft.

Yup, giving up the hit to Jackson just as bad. An ace punches him out. Not allow a booming double to the wall in deep CF.
