It's too early to panic. Here are some other expected contenders records:

Cardinals: 9-7
Reds: 9-8
Giants: 10-7
Dodgers: 7-9(I never believed in them though)
Angels: 5-10
Tigers: 9-7

On the flip side, the ROCKIES are 12-4. Does anyone expect them to keep that up? Or the Red Sox at 11-4? The Braves will be good sure but even their pace will drop.

He just said something about the two T's and then stopped after "Talented" :?  What's the second one?

Since he started.  Deion Sanders got one thing right in his life.

Harper needs to go deep again.

You sound like Harper's BH talking in his sleep.

Harper is the only one on the team that can hit.

They have been pitching above their head. What happens when they come back down to earth a little? :hang: This could get real ugly for the Nats.

or just maybe GIO and Strasburg get it together and the bats heat up. What then?

the thing that troubles me the most is the prospects we've given away for Gio, Span and others.  nothing against Span but he's not worth a potential #1 or 2

And he's improving rapidly in LF.
Harper is the only one on the team that can hit.

I thought he was going to say something else that began with a "t".

You mean the #1 or 2 arm out of the bullpen?

Second full year back from TJ surgery. Strasburg should be back to 100% effectiveness. Makes no sense. He was a ton better last year.

I don't really know what Gio's excuse is.
For SS, I think a lot of it is the change of mentality to this pitch to contact idea.  It's not who he is.  He gets people off balance and then blows them away.

Harper is the only one on the team that can hit.

And the only one with moxie (other than Werth, maybe).  Sucks he's our steady presence and so young.  Wish the vets had half of his moxie.
