The Marlins lineup is an April Fools Day joke.  Just concede 4 walks to Stanton and no-hit the rest of these bums.

I guess a moderator should move this into the GDT subforum once it's created.

This may be the first time Placido Polanco has been paid to bat 4th in his life.  Come to think of it, he probably ought to check to see that Loria hasn't put a stop on his pay check.

May I just say how nice it is to be at the ballpark.

You go to church on Easter Sunday, but on Opening Day you visit the true cathedral.

Strasburg vs. that lineup has the potential for a historic performance.

Placido Polanco has 8 plate appearances batting fourth, and a triple slash batting fourth of .000/.000/.000.

When I was standing on line waiting for the gates to open, it occurred to me that when this place opened in 2008, Odalis Perez was the Opening Day starter.

If anyone else is at the Red Loft, I'm the guy in the Caps jacket leaning on the metal railing without a beer. Not sure I can keep a beer down just now after drinking bourbon yesterday for the first time in a very long time.

Not there yet - how crowded is the Loft already?

Not bad. Railings overlooking the field are full, but otherwise it's pretty open.

Tried to upload photo but the upload failed....
