Because we need Paul on special teams? I don't think it would matter Griffin can't make throws at all today.

Yep,  they certainly have no use for a big athletic receiver

When he played, he didn't get open. He falls asleep in meetings. He's shown no desire to be on the team, let alone be on the field.

Can Griffin complete any pass beyond 10 yards?

Inexcusable. Griffin missed several passes. This team is an embarrassment.

I assume he forgot the down and distance.  That isn't a terrible pass if it was fourth down.

Throw it away and get the first on the next play.

They had just come out of a timeout. There's no way he thought it was 4th down and if he did the problem is even bigger. At Baylor a receiver would've run under that pass and he would've been celebrated. But he's not in Baylor anymore. He missed so many open receivers that it's embarrassing. Griffin is making Vick look accurate by comparison. The woeful "pass" to Paulsen on the first drive would've resulted in a TD or at worst a first and goal.  :smh:

I'm sure the real reason they lost this game was because they "abandoned the run" in the 4th quarter.  :hysterical:

I got nothin'... This team is a freakin mess.

So Spidey, what suggestions do you have? At this point at a minimum, Haslett has to go and the Shanahan's should probably go too. Bruce Allen better make some genius like free agent signings or he needs to go also. If the Shanahan's don't get fired, Allen better take over all personnel decisions.

We've blown through so many coaches that I'd really to see some continuity but I just don't think this is the guy any more. What scares me more is that Snyder will take this as some kind of sign from above or whatever and he'll go back to treating the team like a game of Madden.

I know nick Williams' family was celebrating his two point conversation and good for them but he looked like he should've been kept on the practice squad with the way he played on special teams. He allowed two punts to bounce and get downed inside the 5 and two other punts he fielded he put on the ground. How is it possible that every player they send to return punts is terrified of fielding punts? They either don't want to get hit or are afraid of putting the ball on the ground and it's killing the team.

Some morons texted one of the postgame shows and said that they were one play from tying the game so it must not be all that bad. Another said that Snyder should hire Brian Mitchell, John Riggins, Russ Grimm, Jeff Bostic and Darrell Green as the next coaching staff. Terpfan76, put the cell phone down. :lmao:

A legit concern. I shudder at the idea that Snyder would entertain the idea that has been floated that Griffin wants him to get rid of Shanahan in favor of bringing in his college coach from Baylor. That way he can forget all about receiver route trees and playbooks because everyone will be wide the freak open downfield.  :hang:

edit: Wow after posting this I saw your post and

I don't think Shanahan goes. But I'm certain Burns must be fired because special teams blow chunks. :hang:  Haslett will probably also be sacrificed for this mess but the problem still remains that they need to go back to the 4-3 because Orakpo and Kerrigan are not OLB. However, I don't think they have personnel to play the 4-3 or the 3-4 right now due to aging players and bums. I know they like Keenan Robinson and he can probably play the outside linebacker position adequately in a 4-3 but what do they do at MLB? And the DL needs major addressing not to mention how safety is still a position of need. And that's not even addressing C and the right side of the OL.

:asplode:

Plus, Rocca needs to be cut. I know you said in preseason that it wasn't an issue but he has not punted well this season.

I really don't remember much about Rocca preseason wise, but he's a punter and I'm sure or at least hope we could do better.

Do we really have much history to go on as far as Allen goes? Shanny gets free reign on selecting rbs though.

If you bring in a real GM,  would they even want shanny or kyle? Ideally I'd like to see them start fresh with a young GM and a non retread coach
