Not surprised. Last year was supposed to be his breakout year. It wasn't. He probably thought he needed the extra push.

Had to go to Richmond to help my son and his new digs at VCU.    Man, is it easy to get to training camp.    If I was a 'skins' fan, I'd make a trip to watch 'em for a day.

Not if you make a day of it.    Get there early  ...  hit the camp.   Believe it or not, there are other things to do in Richmond and environs.    Multi-task Slate

I know there is stuff to do in the Richmond area. But training camp is *yawn*

I've never been to a training camp (not even my home team Steelers).   However, if my son hadn't been moving out and into another apartment, I would have given serious consideration to walking in and watching.   Maybe not all day, etc. but long enough to get a taste of it.   Then, I'd head off to Kings Dominion or something to burn off the day.    If it was as boring as you say, it would have been my last.   :)

I'd go just to check out the new facility, Ashburn was ass honestly...and the RGIII hype is at an all time high right now so camp might actually be exciting

My son ran into the McDonald's across the street to get breakfast.   I enjoyed watching the fans roll in.   They had all kinds of regalia goin' on.

It's guys doing football drills with helmets on. It's lower than the NFL draft and pre-season.

As a guy who really enjoys the scouting aspect of the game Training Camp is one of the most exciting times of the year for me.  You get a chance to see these guys at work and get an early read on progression, regression, technique changes, and whatnot.  I love Training Camp but I can see where it would be boring for the casual fan.

Perhaps casual fan isn't the right word.  More casual than my obsessive fanatical tendencies, maybe? :P

Can someone explain to me if spidernat is a crapstick troll on the Redskins thread or a good supporter? We have a mix on WNFF. Sarcasm is spidernat's favorite mode of communication so I was wondering if I could get clarification.

spidey is a die hard skins fan. We've had some debates but as long as you have a real thought process going on in your cranium, its all good. Running around saying niles Paul is gonna a be a all-pro will get you trolled though.

Trung Canidate would be a Pro Bowler for this Skins team

I'm the only loser in America with a Trung Canidate jersey...along with my Jeremiah Trotter and Lavarneus Coles jerseys

I have Sean Taylor, Moss, Portis and Orakpo. All those are pretty good, considering I almost got Smoot, Haynesworth, and Campbell. Avoided some unfortunate purchases.

You definitely made the right calls on those. Redskins jerseys used to be the worst jerseys to buy in all of sports IMO. So much turnover from year to year. I got an RGIII jersey for Christmas last year and that's the last jersey I intend on getting for another 5-10 years.

I have a Cooley (white), Moss (white), and Morris (burgundy) jersey. The Moss is pretty authentic (got it from some dude who sells jerseys). I got the Morris for Christmas last year on the NFL site... their replica jerseys are kind of dull compared to other websites.

Hammonds has a few jerseys ranging from Cooley, RGIII, a Brian Mitchell jersey, someone else I can't think of, and a Joe Salavae'a jersey lol. My other brother has a Derrick Frost jersey. They bought those last jerseys together.
