I'll be in line Saturday morning at the DC DMV, but I'm not real crazy about the $100 Organizational Plate Fee that I'll have to pay for the privilege of displaying these tags. Does any other jurisdiction charge such an exorbitant fee?

$100?  You can buy a plate frame at $5 below.

Yeah, but last I looked 5 and Below had like all Red Sox and Yankees crap with very little Nationals Merchandise... a shame..

Just ask them to order the new plate you want and get a cardboard temp plate for the time being
