I'm off 'til April 1. I'm not a religious guy but the last 15 or so years, I've tried to quit drinking every Lent. After about 40 days of sobriety, I know why I drink.

I remember graffiti somewhere (could have been NYC or a bathroom stall on the NJ t'pike) that said, "Reality is nothing more than an escape from drugs (alcohol)." I'm good with that.
