I can't wait until Edwin Jackson is not on the Nationals. Get out of town, ass.

This entire pitching staff needs to be re-worked.

just to think that we had a 6-0 lead :lmao: :lmao: And Gio kept walking batters, the bullpen sucked, and the offense didn't add on.

100% correct. The manager needs to take a hit tonight too.

Mattheus instead of Jackson and this game is over now with a curly w.

Davey and Jackson need to be out of town by 10 AM.

I'll never forget this. We were so freaking close. I was preparing to scream and yell and celebrate in my basement. We were one freaking pitch away. I thought he would get Freese or Molina out swinging and he just couldn't freaking get it done.

I would rather have been swept than to lose like this.

Gents - it's been a fun season.  Good chatting with you all.  Next season was always going to be the one.  See you all then.  Bermuda signing off.

I'm 42.  This is low point of my sports fan life.  I hate being a DC sports fan.

At least you probably saw Redskins Super Bowls.  Imagine being 23!!  I've been following DC sports since freaking 1997.  Coincidentally, that was about the time when this town started becoming an epic fail in sports (sans the Caps' '98 run).

As a Caps fan, this feeling is something we feel annually. Really tough to see the Nats follow suit this season...

Jackson only gave up one run. We're currently down by two.

Maybe he should have had someone ready to face Kozma after all those walks from Drew. Maybe he shouldn't have used Edwin. So many IFs.

Jackson only gave up one run. We're currently down by two.

It's a different inning with a 2 run cushion.

Anyway, he ruined Wed for me. I will never forget that.
