Gonna be close to my last post in the GDT until I get home from the game. Looking forward to seeing the crew who show up at our meeting spot on the scoreboard walk (tables towards the jamaican Jerk stand. See Obed's post in the thread).

FWIW, in the obscure stat department, in games 2, 3, and 4, Danny has swung and missed at only 2 pitches out of 35 he's seen, and taken 5 strikes and 11 balls. Fair contact 7 times. Of course, his worst game of the series was v. Wainright (3 Ks in 3 appearances, 2 balls, 2 fouls, 3 called strikes, 4 swinging strikes). If it was just jitters, then hope he's over it, and I think you'll see something good. If it was the Wainwright match up, or if the jitters return, then I expect the Lombo chorus to return.

I got nothing done at work today.

Today is my 10th anniversay and we're headed to the park. What an awesome anniversary night.

But I gotta be honest, I'm terrified of this game tonight.

Yeah, England is home!

For the past 4 years ive worked in Rockville during the summer so adopted the Nats as my team. No way was I becoming a fan of the O's!

The post-season has been screen on ESPN UK but i usually stream it on my laptop. I think very slowly its getting more interest but nowhere near as much as the NFL!
