I'm finding that by listening to C&D and just checking out the TV for the visual, it works a lot better to where I don't feel disjointed.

You know, I find it more relaxing and enjoyable listening to the game on the radio sometimes; however, I don't have a radio in my home.
Usually listen to a couple innings on the way home from work sometimes
