Kurt Klutch. Good stuff right there from the 7 and 8 hitters.

LOL not sure why they give Kurt anything to hit there. Great piece of hitting.

Awesome small ball there. First pitch first move steal from Espinosa so you force a decision from the Phils early. Even if they pitch around Suzuki and walk him you get a small victory by getting Ross up that inning.

Also, Hamels was struggling with his pitches a bit to Espi and lo and behold he makes an awful pitch while trying to work around Suzuki. Awesome.

Detwiler is more fragile than Lannan.

Someone in the dugout needs to shake Detwiler and scream, "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU???"   >:(

He refuses to throw anything but fastballs

His recently effectiveness stems directly from the decision to go heavy on the fastball thing.

He'll mix in a few alternative pitches later but as long as he can spot the fastball around the black he's in good shape.

Doesn't matter, he can't get flustered and lose the zone like this.  I hate philthy.

no, he's not.  But throwing curves isn't going to help.  If he can't control the fastball....
