Doubleheaders are almost always a split so this isn't a shock. I'm just glad we were able to hold on for game 1

I thought Lannan had turned a corner. I was wrong. I really wanted him to not be the "get's off his game and walks a ton then loses his control and gives up big hits" Lannan of old. Maybe some things don't change.

Beckett is a guy they should pound for 5-6+ runs. Seems like they are just content with the split and put the bats away.

This is not reliable either but it appears someone researched a number of years and found > 50% are swept, which is what you'd expect unless the teams were evenly matched, which is almost never.

I don't buy that at all. Most are splits, by a lot.
