I love the curly W but the block white W is bad ass.
Agreed. I like the the Block W they used last year also. The red on blue I believe?
Yup. I actually bought two of those hats last year. Totally going to get a second white W once they go up for sale on the MLB page.
My three hats for the year.I'll be wearing the white hat tonight
The DC hat is ug-ly.
see it's a better thread than what i would've come up with!(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
GALAH! THAT'S FRIGGIN AWESOME. i'd upvote that post a million times if i could.the white one is so awesome.
[...]I don't see numbers on the back of the 1924 uniforms either......
Numbers did not become mandatory in MLB until 1932.
Why not put a picture of Mark Lerner on each sleeve, if it's not going to be authentic, as to what was worn in the 1924 World Series?
False. Interlocking DC > anything.
The nice thing about the hats that Galah has is that they're a low crown cap and not the tall boy that MLB on-field hats tend to be. I'm not a big fan of the fit of the American Needle hats but the quality is really good and they're usually a good $10 cheaper than the New Era authentics. I've got two (for the 1961 and 1971 red curly W caps) and they're super comfy and look really sharp.
It being based on the 1924 hats didn't give that away?
