They'll make him add 30 pounds. Wouldn't worry about that, I think.

I want Porter, have wanted him for a while. I'd be fine with Bennett, Oladipo, or Burke(I know the latter two don't fill needs but you don't pass up on talent).

Sir Charles did a pretty good job at 6'4" or so.

Both Mclmore and Olidepo are to small to play the SF position. Best thing for the wizards is pray Otto Porter drops to them, which I think will happen. You have Ariza who's contract ends after this upcoming season and you have the option of bringing back Webster (who they should bring back). Now you keep Otto on the bench for a year groom him and in year you have a nice trio of Beal, Wall and Porter.

Your stuck with Nene for like 4 more years so no point in drafting a big man and Okafor is a really really underrated player. Go with Otto , pray he there at 3 and in a year or two I could see the wizards becoming a nice TEAM like the pacers.

If McLemore is available, I'm hoping we try to trade that pick + Ariza/Okafor + Seraphin/Booker for Kevin Love.

If he's gone, we have to draft Porter.

You can build a team through FA, you know. Quite successfully too.

Problem with that is wizards have alot of ugly contracts thanks for Ernie. They won't have cap space and when Okafor + Ariza expire Wall get his extension. Building through this years draft, signing key vets on small contracts and resigning your young players is the only hope we got.

Where'd they get the coach?    He may be older than me.

He was coach of the Connecticut Sun from 2003-12 - terrific regular season records for the most part but couldn't win the big one.

Wizards have talked a potential trade with the Bulls: Okafor + #3 pick for Luol Deng.

Heard that on 106.7    I don't know.   Seems pretty steep to me.

#SoWizards to trade a building block piece of a #3 pick, your defensive anchor for a SF with a bad back, 9k minutes in three years with only a year left in the deal. Luckily it was shot down.

I've kinda come around on Bennett. Love his offensive game. Would add explosion to a terrible offensive team.

That would been an awful trade.  Trading the #3 pick and Okafor for a one year rental who is on the decline.  The only trade I would accept with open arms for the third pick would be for DeMarcus Cousins.

I wouldn't have a problem with either Bennett or Porter, although Porter seems more of a safe bet.  It wouldn't shock me if Noel falls to us if Cleveland outsmarts themselves and drafts Len and Orlando is hell-bent on McLemore.

The Wizards are going to have a solid squad in the next couple of years if everyone stays healthy and reaches their potential.  Now they only need one more terrible season and they could end up with an elite talent in either Wiggins or Parker.  Tank!!

Admittedly I don't follow the NBA but I know DeMarcus Cousins is not who you want on your team if you are looking for a cohesive team.  He is a personal bomb waiting to go off.

I think if he just got his touches and the team wins he would be fine.  Wall could probably keep Cousins in control and if Wall succeeds in that, the Wizards would have themselves a near elite center.  If the Kings aren't asking for a (pardon the pun) king's ransom for him, they should go for it since a combo of Wall/Beal/Cousins could be deadly and would be one the best teams in the Eastern Conference.  I doubt they're going to ask for TOO much anyway since they probably don't want to give him a max contract and they don't want him around any longer.

I'm still in the camp that the Wizards should tank this season if they start to become plagued by injuries.  The 2014 class has too much talent within the first seven or so picks to pass up.  This class could end up being a class like 2003.  A win total in the mid-thirties or a first round playoff exit really does nothing for them.

I'm pretty sure that Ernie has the playoffs in his sights for next year

Call me crazy, I think the Wizards are a top 5 seed in the East, even if the 3 pick doesn't contribute too much right away.

assuming health (which is very unlikely with Okafor and Nene), I could see it, but I think lottery is more likely

I think the Wizards should target Corey Brewer in free agency. He'd be a great 6th or 7th man and would fit Wittman's system perfectly. He's a very good defender and he's one of the best transition players in the NBA. Plus, I think he'd only cost around $3.5 mil. The Wizards need depth more than anything else.

So we drafted Otto and traded for Glen Rice, Jr. I don't remember much of him in college, even though he played for GT.
