wow awesome. Some guys on the team must have known something about Peralta's glove.

The team clearly didn't like him for some reason after they non-tendered him a few years ago despite putting up good numbers.

Junk in the glove. Something to scratch or abrade the ball, or something gooey. Both change it's trajectory.
