I wonder if the extra two minutes different from every other team's start time of five after the hour is due to the additional national anthem?

I never thought of that. But some teams start their games at 1:10 or 1:40 so they are actually shaving 3 minutes from those times.

Toronto has Thursday off and then host the arriving Phillies.  Nationals have Thursday off too.
Must be a lunch time special game to encourage fans to eat at the stadium.

Lots of kids appear to be at the game..so it could be one of those games scheudle for local camps to bring kids

Why is LaRoche getting a day off today against a righty?  Why not have him DH?

Davey works his magic again.

6th   Merry Tyler Moore homered to center.

Washington Nationals   5
          Toronto Blue Jays         2

Washington area Lexus dealers donate $200 for every home run to Children’s Medical Center.

"You're going to make it after all!"
5 RBIs, 2 HRs - DO YOU KNOW HIS NAME NOW, DAVEY?

Moore had 31 HRs in AAA last year and was on a pace for over 40 this year.
Davey needs to play him, especially if Morse's 2011 power was a one-year fluke.

I wonder if the teams supposedly interested in Youk would be interested in LaRoche if they decided to deal him
