Can't believe Alvarez has only thrown 85 pitches through 6. That's criminal.

Lannan probably wouldn't be much worse but I can't really explain why he's had such an awful year in AAA.

Lannan was effective last season, if he could give us that i'd be happy but i'm sure he is pissed about the demotion

Actually, I think we still have the lead.

Nah, I think judging by the outrage, every time Wang gives up a run it counts as 3 or 4.

Great quick inning for Det.

Hit hard a couple of times but I'll take it.

Lannan probably just doesn't give a dang. Reminds me of Holtby not playing well in Hershey. You've proven yourself already.

Gameday indicated it was a strike, same way it looked to me.  No gift at all.

Sorry I disagree.  Plenty of times gameday is off as Bos has said before.

we just need 9 more outs, can the bullpen hold it ?
I think we better have a least one more insurance run, this mean we need to bunt to move runner into scoring position

i would have preferred that wang keep it up a little longer. it shrank pretty fast.

I have a hunch that CMW will get better each start. Pure hunch, based on his having had the injury and then the layoff. Detwiler has been healthy this season and last...he seems talented but fragile. Not physically fragile, but he goes three or four innings with lively stuff and then seems to lose it.

Lannan probably would have been solid in the five slot.

I agreed with the decision to go with Detwiler, but this can't go more than another starts with this kind of production (WHIP)

I blame the two run home run on Johnson for not pulling Wang.

Adding Dempster to our rotation at the deadline would be awesome. Final year of his contract so it probably wouldn't cost us too much.

He slept in a Holiday Inn last night.

Either an aberration, or (hopefully) he's finally finding it from the left side.

Danny would have K'd on that ball in the dirt up until 5 days ago so that's a good AB

Didn't the Braves run Yunel out of town? (or vice versa)
