Hudson good, but getting a little help from the enlarged strike-one.

Umm, how the freak was that a strike?

Golden Corral closes at 11:00, so the ump wants to get this game moving.

Wasn't that shoulder height?

On a re-look, it ended about letter-high. Which used to be the top of the strike-zone. Lately, strike-zone seems to top-out at the belt...

Strike-zone seems huge for Hudson, and small for our guys.

Exactly my thought, although CMW just got a strike called letter-high.

Great work by CMW.

He'll be a lot better than Detwiler as our #5.

I wouldn't PH for Wang unless someone is in scoring position.

LaRoche does add something with his fielding. Adam Dunn, much as I like the guy, would never have gotten that grounder.

If there are two outs when Wang is up would you pinch hit for him or let him stay and pitch?

My vote - keep him in the game.

Edit - just saw TylerDC post.   Agree.

It depends on how they feel about him going longer in his first outing.

Typical umpire behavior. If a pitcher demonstrates control, they get the corner calls. If you aren't demonstrating control, marginal calls will always go against you.
Strike-zone seems huge for Hudson, and small for our guys.

Our offense left the game after that inning to beat the traffic.
