He could have some sort of gastronomic problem, I guess.  That might explain the suddenness of the scratch.    :spaz:

He was pretty close to the mound when HRod was in the game.

Zimmerman is almost as fragile as Wright, pissing me off. $226 million dollars not playing.

Zimmerman makes Wright look like Cal Ripken.

The last "manager's decision" was Werth's migraine.

Right.  Hopefully that's all it is, or something like that.

Indeed it is

I am not bound to please thee with my answers.
If he's not injured then Davey Johnson really is the worst mananger in baseball and this really is the worst run franchise in sports.

He could have some sort of gastronomic problem, I guess.  That might explain the suddenness of the scratch.    :spaz:

Of course, it would be much more comforting to know if it were something like that rather than "manager's decision".

Morse seemed fine during his rehab before he had to shut down for 6 weeks.

Manager's decision is a terrible, disconcerting reason.  Why put your fans through this rather than honesty?

That sucks. I have a feeling him being out tonight is going to end up biting us one way or another.

Three lefties in a row 2-3-4. Easy for matchups late in game.

Halladay velocity down this year to 89-91. Mixing in breaking ball more to keep hitters off balance. Got Tracy there.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or drive the run in with our tepid bats.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of boos blow in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger.

What is the point of signing Zimmerman if he can't seem to stay on the field?

How many hits and homers will JZ give up tonight? He's been ghastly lately and Philly crushed him last time.

But how will you know about the concert in the ballpark unless they talk about it incessantly?

Well, I just read this thread from the start, and as a proud Englishman I can honestly say that I am both surprised and impressed by your knowledge of the Bard.

Alas, Palanco, I knew him well.  (Although he does have an exceedingly oddly shaped noggin).
