worst loss so far, lots of opportunities to win but we couldn't execute, and sloppy fielding leading to Pirate runs. We had a gift when Bedard went down and it didn't matter.

this. I teach this to every kid I coach. If the pitcher can't get the ball over the plate then you don't swing until you get one strike on you.

Blame the hitting coach. Oh, we also had 11 strikeouts against a parade of mediocre relievers.
