Off topic.

I'm going to the game tomorrow and want to bring a beach ball or two.  I'm assuming these are not allowed, but do you think the staff would do anything if they caught me blowing it up?

I'll blow it up inside, of course.

I have a spare ticket (three big guys need four seats for arm room) so I can always use the extra ticket to get back in.

And makes good baseball decisions. Who knew the uninterested attitude in the minors was boredom?

Of course, that attitude doesn't bode well if the Nats don't win. He'll be clamoring for the really big time.

nice strategy.  i'd say go for it.  if they get mad at you then they should be fired for not allowing fun at a baseball game

I don't know if anyone posted this or not. So I'm going to go ahead and do it just in case.

He is so much better than Carpenter at calling deep flies. Carp had no idea.

Game is being replayed on MASN now, I'll get to see the full walkoff

This is why I can't stand Carp. He always thinks routine pop ups are gone yet he's somehow freaked up big homers like this. His call of Justin Maxwell's walk off grand slam was particularly awful. If you're going to get overly enthused about every fly ball, at least be consistent about it. Don't get all weak when the real magic happens.

What an awesome game. I absolutely love the energy that Bryce is bringing to this team right now. This was the kind of win we really needed. Hopefully we can take the series tomorrow, and get 2 of 3 this weekend.

And the ball is evidently gone For a Walk Off Grand SLAM.

Harper is really, really fast. I had no idea he had those kind of wheels.

His level of effort is amazing compared to other major leaguers. Love the hustle he puts into routine ground balls.

Nady still can't hit.  Can't field, either.  Ankiel at least fields well but he can't field either.

Starting to worry about Ramos not being able to throw anyone out.

Espinosa needs to bat 7th or 8th and then go to the bench when Zim comes back.

Nice to see Henry have a decent outing.  Stammen is still nails.

Good for Desmond - but Harper was really the star of the show.  He is so impressive.

Yep, he runs as though he expects the 1st baseman to drop the ball which puts pressure on the fielders to rush the throw.

Good...I'm not the only one who thought this.  Carp's call was really bad.  How does he get so excited about routine fly balls, but yet his call of this homerun was so lackluster?

LaRoche has been our best hitter this year, and he smoked a liner, unfortunately right at a fielder.

exactly.  in fact we all thought that ball was landing, he scorched it.  upton played it right (dbacks scouting as usual, good work), it didn't drop.

then flores and espinosa had two of their usual AB's couldn't even put wood on the ball.
