I had a horrible, horrible dream last night that Harper got traded to the Red Sox. Luckily it was just a dream.
Yesterday was the first time we saw Harper live and it took one at bat before he made an impact (stretching the bloop hit into a double). His taking of home in the 7th on Zimmerman's hit had the crowd on its feet. He is "must see" baseball.

I guess Harper must have been listening because, in the first inning of Thursday's game, the 19-year-old phenom hit a laser into the rightfield bullpen and then raced around the bases faster than he ever has before. His 16.2 second trot is now the fastest single trot of the year, putting Harper in the #1 and #2 (and #10) slots on the leaderboard. These are the trots we all want to see. Maybe we should just let him know that, in 2010, Adam Rosales had four regular tater trots faster than Harper's from last night. Four!

Yeah I was listening to that game, I get it stuck in my head now thanks to Werth. I also enjoy that song that is basically someone strumming the guitar with the crowd shouting between each measure. Crowd gets into it.
